Lathika Krishna capped off an excellent year one in the Maroon & Gold with a third-place finish at SWAC Championships at RTJ Oxmoor Velley in Birmingham, AL
B-CU finished in in sixth place on the event with team scores of 343+345+340=1028 (+164).
Prairie View A&M took home the SWAC title with a 317+317+306=940 (+76). They were followed by Texas Southern at 961, and Alabama State at 972 to round out the top three.
Krishna improved each day on the event, opening with an 81 in round one, followed by a 77 and 75 for a 233 (+17) to round out her first SWAC Tournament.
Alabama State's Camen Fletcher took the individual title after a playoff hole, finishing 80+78+74=232 (+16)
Mia Bernier was next for B-CU, carding an 84+88+83=255 (+39), good for 19th overall.
Lana Bowen and
Skylar Kew rounded out the top four for the Cats, with a 93+99+85=277 (+61) and a 94+89+97=280 (+64), respectively.
Reese Wilson, making her return from a wrist injury that plagued her 2025-26 season, carded an 85 and 91 before withdrawing prior to round three.
