Sophomore Year - 2012
Made the shift primarily to midweek starter for the Wildcats in the first year under Head Coach Jason Beverlin, starting in 15-of-17 games played, and improving his ERA from 7.91 in 2011 to 3.86 in 2012...Finished the year with a record of 4-7, taking on some of B-CU's toughest non-conference opponents, pitching a team second-best 91 innings, finishing second on the team with 70 strikeouts (tied for fourth in MEAC) versus 27 walks...Opponents batted .240 against him on the season...He combined on two shutouts for the year...Durapau threw just one game during the MEAC regular season, pitching 5.2 innings with a career-high 10 strikeouts, with three walks and two earned runs...He appeared for eight innings in the Wildcats' 9-0 shutout of Norfolk State (5/18/12) in the MEAC Baseball Championships, allowing just three hits while striking out six and walking none...He also threw four innings as the starter in the NCAA Regional contest versus College of Charleston, striking out four... Durapau threw eight innings at Jacksonville, a shutout in which he struck out four and walked one... Named MEAC Pitcher of the Week (5/8/12), after aiding the Wildcats in a 1-1 record against FIU and #19 Miami; in two appearances, one start and one relief, he had a combined 1.00 ERA, striking out four and walking one at FIU, while against Miami, he did not allow a hit and struck out four batters in three innings of relief action
Freshman Year - 2011
Split time between starter and reliever in the 2011 pitching rotation for B-CU, appearing in 14 games and starting in five...Earned a 7.91 ERA in 33.0 innings pitched, collecting 36 strikeouts...Opponents held a .200 SB percentage against Durapau, who threw out four-of-five attempts...Appeared in relief against Stetson (3/9/11) and had one of his best games allowing one run in four innings, collecting six strikeouts...Also relieved against Coppin State (4/23/11), striking out 6-of-11 batters faced in two innings, with only one run allowed...Named MEAC Rookie of the Week (4/5/11) as the starting pitcher in B-CU's 7-0 win over North Florida, in which he recorded a 0.00 ERA in six innings of play and did not allow a run, striking out five batters, allowing three hits and three walks

Played his high school ball at Deltona High School, Earning a record of 7-2 as a senior, while leading Tommy Hickox' Wolves team on the mound, with the team collecting an 18-10 record, a District Tournament title, and a trip to the State 6A playoffs...Threw a no-hitter and three one-hitters as a senior...Struck out 92 opposing batters with a 1.24 ERA in 62.3 innings pitched, only giving up 32 hits in 244 batters faced...Named first team All-Area

Born March 27, 1992 in Deltona, Fla., he is the son of Robert and Linda Durapau...He has one brother, Tyler...He volunteered his time through high school graduation at Timber Crest Elementary School, also participating in Mu Alpha Theta at DHS...He chose Bethune-Cookman because it was closer to home and he knew a lot of players on the team...Cites his parents as his biggest athletic influence, because "they have given me so much, I work hard to make it big and help them out"...His goal at Bethune-Cookman is to advance through Regional and Super-Regional games to make it to the College World Series...He is majoring in Business Administration at Bethune-Cookman
