Returned to Pima Community College under Coach Jason Hisey as a team captain...Though the Aztecs logged a 25-29-1 record, Zuniga tabbed a 5-5 record and a team-leading 1.80 ERA, pitching 85 innings in 15 appearances...As a redshirt sophomore, he led the conference in shutouts (4), was second in complete games (6) and tallied 54 strikeouts...Zuniga had a stretch of 21 scoreless innings pitched and allowed just one run in 29 innings...Named to the All-ACCAC second team and All-Region 1 second team

Played one season at Pima Community College under Coach Jason Hisey, aiding the Aztecs to a 34-22 record...Appeared in 16 games, pitching 87 innings with a 7-4 record and 3.00 ERA, striking out 67 opposing batters...Earned second-team All-ACCAC honors

High School
Played his high school baseball at Nogales High School under coach O.J. Favela...A two-time team captain, Zuniga went 7-3 with a 2.40 ERA and 101 strikeouts in 63 innings as a senior (2010)...Eamed honors for Kino Region Player of the Year, first-team All-Kino Region and first-team All-Southern Arizona as a senior...As a junior, was 9-1 with a 1.42 ERA, striking out 71 in 65 innings, earning first-team All-Kino Region...Honorable mention All-Conference as a sophomore...Lettered in football for three seasons as the starting quarterback, earning first-team All-Conference, All-Southern Arizona and led Southern Arizona in passing with 2,246 yards as a senior, throwing 27 touchdown passes and only six interceptions as a senior...also passed for 2,230 yards and 28 touchdowns as a junior, earning second-team All-Conference honors

Keith Michael Zuniga was born March 8, 1992 in Nogales, Arizona to Marcella and Heriberto Zuniga...Has two siblings, brother Eric (23) and twin sister Erica (21)...His brother played college football at Western New Mexico and his sister was a cheerleader at Northern Arizona...Chose Bethune-Cookman because he wanted to be part of a great university and baseball program, to receive a great education and leave with a degree...Notes his best sports memories as recording four consecutive shutouts and playing football under the lights...before each game, Zuniga sleeps on his non-throwing arm, makes a visit to the hot tub and puts on his socks left to right...His most prized possession is his truck...Cites his father, mother and Ali Simpson as his biggest influences...Majoring in Criminal Justice at Bethune-Cookman and looks to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation
