Played his high school baseball at Nogales High School under coach O.J. Keith Michael Zuniga was born March 8, 1992 in Nogales, Arizona to Marcella and Heriberto Zuniga...Has two siblings, brother Eric (23) and twin sister Erica (21)...His brother played college football at Western New Mexico and his sister was a cheerleader at Northern Arizona...Chose Bethune-Cookman because he wanted to be part of a great university and baseball program, to receive a great education and leave with a degree...Notes his best sports memories as recording four consecutive shutouts and playing football under the lights...before each game, Zuniga sleeps on his non-throwing arm, makes a visit to the hot tub and puts on his socks left to right...His most prized possession is his truck...Cites his father, mother and Ali Simpson as his biggest influences...Majoring in Criminal Justice at Bethune-Cookman and looks to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation
