Redshirt Junior Year - 2014
Earned the Saturday starting position in his debut season with the Wildcats, making 14 starts in 15 appearances on the campaign...Zuniga collected an 8-4 record and 2.70 ERA, the fifth-best among Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) starters...Logging a team-leading three (3) complete games in 100 innings pitched, Zuniga tallied a MEAC fifth-best 57 strikeouts while only allowing 19 walks, limiting opposing hitters to a .245 average against...Zuniga tied for second in MEAC and ranked 89th in the NCAA in victories (8)...Zuniga’s debut inning count ranks 11th in the program records for innings in a season, and his ERA ranks 13th among B-CU season bests...Had a season high in strikeouts with eight (8) versus Florida Gulf Coast (2/21) and recorded at least five (5) Ks in five contests...His longest appearance of the year was a nine-inning complete game versus Central Connecticut State (3/21)...Held opponents to one earned run or fewer in six games...Earned the win in B-CU’s historic post-season victory over Columbia at the NCAA (Coral Gables) Regional, throwing 6.0 innings...Was named Second Team All-MEAC and also earned MEAC All-Academic honors...Following the NCAA Regional, Zuniga was drafted in the 35th round by Miami, but opted to return to school and finish his degree

Keith Michael Zuniga was born March 8, 1992 in Nogales, Arizona to Marcella and Heriberto Zuniga...Has two siblings, brother Eric (23) and twin sister Erica (21)...His brother played college football at Western New Mexico and his sister was a cheerleader at Northern Arizona...Chose Bethune-Cookman because he wanted to be part of a great university and baseball program, to receive a great education and leave with a degree...Notes his best sports memories as recording four consecutive shutouts and playing football under the lights...before each game, Zuniga sleeps on his non-throwing arm, makes a visit to the hot tub and puts on his socks left to right...His most prized possession is his truck...Cites his father, mother and Ali Simpson as his biggest influences...Majoring in Criminal Justice at Bethune-Cookman and looks to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation
