2017 – Redshirt Junior Season
Switched to receiver after bouncing back from a season-ending injury in 2016… Played in 11 games, drawing a start in three of those contests… Hauled in eight passes for 77 yards and a touchdown… Averaged 9.6 yards per reception, while averaging seven yards per game receiving… Ran the ball twice for three yards… Registered an 11-yard touchdown reception in a win at Southeastern Louisiana… Caught two passes for 13 yards, also rushing twice for three yards at Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) opponent Florida Atlantic… Posted a career-best three receptions for 32 yards, including a 19-yard pass reception in a loss at North Carolina A&T… Had one pass reception for 16 yards in a BCU Homecoming win over Hampton… Pulled in his final reception of the year with a five-yard catch in a thrilling come-from-behind victory at North Carolina Central…
 
2016 – Junior Season
Played in three games and started in one in his first season with the Maroon and Gold… Held a passing efficiency of 52.98 for the year… Completed 7-of-18 passes and registered one interception for 54 yards… Rushed for 98 yards on 17 attempts… Suffered a season-ending injury at Savannah State… Connected on 4-of-13 passes for 45 yards, adding 81 rushing yards on 11 attempts at home against Tennessee State… Completed 3-of-5 passes for nine yards, rushing for an additional 22 yards before suffering the injury at Savannah State…

Spent two years at Globe Tech… Performed as a two-position player on offensive for Globe Institute… Played both quarterback and receiver… Primarily played quarterback… Connected on 6-of-22 passes for 98 yards and a touchdown against Erie Community College… Also ran the ball 21 times for 87 yards… Finished the season connecting on 158 of 224 attempts passing… Completed 70.5 percent of his passes, finishing second in the NJCAA overall… Averaged 204.3 passing yards per game in 2015… Connected for 16 touchdowns…

Kennedy High School in his hometown of Bronx, New York… Lettered in basketball and football in high school… As a junior, passed for 731 yards and seven touchdowns… Rushed for 633 yards and nine scores on the ground… Held a quarterback rating of 92.10 on the campaign… In basketball, averaged 10.6 points and 6.6 rebounds in his junior season… Was recruited out of high school by Syracuse, Connecticut, North Carolina State, Rutgers, Towson and Tennessee…
