Spent his sophomore year at NC State in 2014, while serving one year at West Virginia as a freshman in 2013… Caught 16 balls for 149 yards, an average of just over seven yards per catch in his sophomore campaign with the Wolfpack of NC State… Registered 10 catches for 55 yards as a true freshman with the Mountaineers… Played in three games for the Mountaineers…

Prepped at Treasure Coast High School… A Palm Beach Post All-Area “Best of the Treasure Coast” selection in 2011… Copeland was a dual threat quarterback and utility player at Treasure Coast High School in Port St. Lucie, Florida… He was rated a four-star athlete by 247 Sports in 2012, choosing West Virginia over Rutgers, Cincinnati and FIU…
