Played in all 10 games in his first season with the program… Started in eight contests as a defensive back, primarily at the cornerback position… Produced 29 total tackles on the year, with 23 of those coming by way of a solo performance… Chipped in with six assisted tackles… Had one tackle for loss… Stepped in front of one pass for an interception… Accumulated four pass deflections overall for the season… Registered four primary stops at Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) opponent North Texas, adding a pass breakup in the process against the Mean Green… Tallied another four-tackle performance at home to Tennessee State… Picked off his first pass of the year against the Tigers, returning it nine yards… Stepped into the backfield for a half-tackle for loss against Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) champion North Carolina Central… Recorded five tackles (three assisted) in that game against the Eagles in Daytona Beach… Had a personal-best six primary tackles and a pair of pass deflections against North Carolina A&T… Picked up two solo tackles on the road in a win at Morgan State… Had back-to-back games with a primary stop against Florida A&M in the Florida Blue Florida Classic, as well as at South Carolina State to conclude the year…
