Started in nine games at the middle linebacker position, playing in 10 contests overall on the season… Finished second on the team and 15th in the MEAC with 64 total tackles on the season… Logged a team third-best 33 primary tackles to go along with 31 assisted tackles… Collected there tackles behind the line of scrimmage for a loss of three yards… Posted one pass deflection and two quarterback hurries on the year… Forced one fumble… Had two tackles (one solo, one assisted) in his first collegiate game at FBS opponent Miami (Fla.)… Produced eight tackles (five assisted), adding one tackle for loss, in a victory on the road against Grambling State… Picked up seven tackles with an assisted stop behind the line in a home-opening victory against Lane… Tallied a season-best 12 tackles (seven solo) in a conference win on the road against North Carolina Central… Totaled seven tackles (four assisted) with a pair of quarterback hurries and a pass breakup in a Thursday night ESPNU-televised contest against South Carolina State… Assisted with a tackle behind the line and totaled eight stops at North Carolina A&T… Had his second double-digit tackles performance of the year in a Homecoming win over Norfolk State, producing 11 total tackles (nine solo) with a tackle for loss and a forced fumble against Norfolk State… Chimed in with five tackles in the Florida Blue Florida Classic victory over Florida A&M at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando…

Played four years at DeLand High School… Also had offers from Florida A&M and North Carolina Central… Caught two passes for 26 yards, and rushed three times for 26 yards in his senior year… Pulled down 18 tackles through four games in 2013… Played just four games during his senior season before it was cut short due to injury… Also played basketball for the Bulldogs…
