Posted a 4-4 record in 26.1 Innings Pitched along with 31 Strikeouts... Graduated with his AA Degree and a 3.7 GPA... Named Team Captain for the PHCC Patriots in 2019.

FRESHMAN SEASON: (2018 at Patrick Henry Community College):  Played at PHCC under Frank Jagoda... Appeared in 17 games with a 6-1 record out of the bullpen along with a 2.05 Earned Run Average in 22 Innings Pitched... Helped lead the PHCC Patriots to a Region 10 NJCAA D2 Regional Championship Game... Named PHCC Freshman of the Year.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four year standout at Courtland HS in Fredericksburg, VA.

PERSONAL: Born  10/03/98 … Son of Daron and Suzanne Henson … Siblings include Luke and Lily Henson … Majoring in Business Administration… Favorite athlete is Dwayne Wade and favorite team is the New York Mets. Chose to attend B-CU because it was a great opportunity to develop as a pitcher. After graduation, Matthew Henson would like to go to Law School.
