Abel Alexander Del Valle was born June 25, 1995 in Levitown, Toa Baja, Puerto Rico to Angelica Reyes and Pedro Del Valle…He has three siblings, J.P. (19), Paola (16) and Perla (16)…Outside of baseball, he enjoys video games, running, going to the movies and hanging out with friends…He’s logged nearly 100 recent hours of community service…Chose Bethune-Cookman because he wanted to be a part of the historic baseball program…Notes his best sports memory as throwing a no-hitter on his high school Senior Night…His favorite athlete is Jose Fernandez, because he’s a talented young pitcher and he wants to model himself after Fernandez, especially his breaking ball…Cites his parents as the biggest influence in his life...Majoring in Mathematics at Bethune-Cookman
