Made 21 appearances on the mound for the Wildcats in his inaugural season of collegiate baseball, including one start…Logged a 3-2 record and 4.66 ERA in 29 innings of action, collecting one save…Ferguson struck out 19 opposing batters and opponents batted .262 against…Made his longest appearance, 3.1 innings, at North Florida (4/2)…Recorded a career-high three strikeouts in two games, versus North Florida (2/19) and at Florida Gulf Coast (4/23)…Played his summer league baseball for the Orlando Monarchs, playing 11 games and starting seven with a league eighth-best 2.97 ERA and a 1-0 record, striking out a team-high 37 batters in 36.1 innings

Played for Trinity Christian Academy in Orlando, Fla. as an outfielder and pitcher, aiding the Warriors and Coach Miguel Cuello to winning seasons in 2011 and 2012, after finishing as the State Runner-Up in his sophomore season (2010)…Appeared twice in the Under Armour Pre-Season All-American Tournament (2011-12)…Earned honors as Perfect Game Second Team All-Florida, in addition to Rawlings/Perfect Game Honorable Mention Preseason All-America honors…Also played basketball in his senior season at TCA

Born February 25, 1993 and raised in Nassau, Bahamas…He is the son of Robertha and Byron Ferguson…His father competed in track & field at Texas Christian University (TCU)…Chose Bethune-Cookman for a good college experience…Off the field, he’s interested in education, basketball and hanging out with friends…Recently worked youth camps in the summer to give back to the community…Cites his father as his biggest athletic influence because, “he put me in the best position possible to understand what being a college athlete is about”...He is majoring in Business Administration at Bethune-Cookman
