2015 –Redshirt Sophomore Season
Played in 45 games as a redshirt sophomore, starting in 44 of those contests… Started behind the dish in all but three games, playing as a designated hitter… Batted .226 on the year, using 30 hits in 133 at-bats… Crossed 18 times for runs… Slugged out six doubles with 17 runs driven in… Drew a season second-most 20 walks… Hit by a pitch a team-high tying eight times… Tallied a .358 slugging percentage… Stole one base in one season attempt… Collected 251 putouts with 41 assists… Registered a .980 fielding percentage – the highest of any catcher on the squad… Went 3-for-3 with the bat, adding three (3) doubles and a RBI in the first game of a doubleheader against North Carolina Central (March 7)… Had a 3-for-4 day with a double and two runs scored against Jacksonville (March 10)… Registered a 2-for-4 outing with two RBI, five putouts and two assists in the first game of a doubleheader with Savannah State (March 28)… Went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a double in the opener of a doubleheader against North Carolina A&T (April 18) in Sanford, Florida…

2014 – Sophomore Season
Made eight appearances starting behind the dish for the Wildcats before an injury sidelined him for the season, using a medical hardship waiver and a season to rehabilitate… Batted .130 with three RBI and one run scored… Logged a .355 on-base percentage, also walking five times and reaching as a hit batter on three occasions… Was a perfect 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts... Held a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, logging 66 putouts and seven assists…Had his biggest offensive impact against Florida Gulf Coast (Feb. 23), going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run scored… Collected season highs 13 putouts versus FGCU (Feb. 21) and three assists against Cal State Northridge (Feb. 14)… Earned Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) All-Academic honors…

2013 –Freshman Season
Began his inaugural season at Bethune-Cookman as part of the Wildcats catching tandem, serving as the catcher for the left-handed pitching staff before an injury pushed him into full-time action… Played in 38 games, starting 33 behind the plate… Middleton batted .221 with 25 hits, eight RBI and 13 runs scored… He collected 208 putouts and 25 assists on the year… Made his best performance at the plate in the MEAC Baseball Championships second round vs. Delaware State (May 16), batting 3-for-4, scoring one run… Also batted 2-for-4 with one RBI and two runs scored at Florida Gulf Coast (Apr. 23)…

Hagerty HS
Played four years for the Huskies of Paul J. Hagerty High School under Coach Jered Goodwin, wrapping up his career with a 22-6 record as a senior… The Huskies were Class 8-A District 2 Runner-Up, going on to win in the FHSAA Class 8-A Regional Quarterfinal before ending the season in the Semifinal… Was named Second Team All- Seminole Athletic Conference as a sophomore and elevated to first team all-conference as a senior… As a senior, was selected for the South Team for the Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA) Baseball All-Star Weekend… Caught for three seasons for teammate Zach Eflin at Hagerty, who was drafted 33rd by the San Diego Padres in 2012… Was named Most Outgoing by his classmates at HHS… Was invited to play for FTB (Florida Travel Ball) Mizuno in the 2009 WWBA Underclass World Championship, aiding in the victory over the NVTBL Stars with a seventh inning bases-loaded double… Named to Class 8-A All-State Team…

Personal
Born October 8, 1993 in Mississippi… He is the son of Alex and Kelsey Grabsky and Mark Middleton… Has donated his time working with the Oviedo Challenger Baseball League for children with physical or mental disabilities… Off the field, he enjoys hunting and fishing… He is both the first in his family to play a sport in college, and also the first not to enlist directly in the military out of high school… Aspires to play Major League Baseball, but also wants to start a Special Education club… He is majoring in Exceptional Student Education: K-12…
