2015 – Junior Season
Saw action in 30 games, appearing in 12 as a starter… Started at first base in those 12 contests, seeing further action as a pinch hitter and defensive substitution… Batted .217 with 13 hits, including five RBI… Scored two runs… Registered a .982 fielding percentage with 106 putouts and five assists… Went 4-for-5 in a career-high performance with two RBI and a run scored against UCF (March 17)… Had eight putouts in the start at first base against the Knights… Ended the year with a four-game hitting streak from April 14 through April 29… Went 2-for-4 in a victory at North Carolina A&T (March 14)…

2014 – Sophomore Season
Split time at catcher for the Wildcats, playing in 19 games, with 16 starts behind the plate… Batted .119 on the campaign, logging three (3) RBI and scoring three runs of his own… Walked five (5) times and reached base as a hit batter three (3) times, tallying a .355 on-base percentage… Batted .333 with a double and an RBI to aid the Wildcats to a 5-2 victory over UCF on March 4… Logged 12 putouts at Florida A&M (3/1)…

2013 – Freshman Season
Appeared in 16 games for the Wildcats in his first season playing college baseball, starting in seven, playing mostly as a first baseman, with stints as a the designated hitter and one start behind the plate… Batted .152 in 33 at-bats, putting up a double, a triple and a home run, while collecting two RBI and scoring two runs… Logged a .986 fielding percentage… Had his best game at North Carolina A&T (3/17), going 1-for-4 with two RBI and two runs, putting out nine Aggies and logging an assist…

Grandview Prep HS
Played high school baseball at Colegio Espíritu Santo in San Juan, Puerto Rico, playing the catcher and first base positions for his father, Pablo Carballo, aiding them to victory in the Torne de Colegios Privados en Puerto Rico… Earned the Batting Title in 2010 and 2011, collecting a .297 career batting average with four home runs… He completed his senior year at Grandview Preparatory High School in Boca Raton, Florida… Though Grandview did not field a baseball team, Carballo played for Bucky Dent Baseball Academy, collecting seven RBI in 11 games, facing South Florida junior colleges and international academy teams…

Personal
Born June 23, 1994 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he is the son of Migui Casimiro and Pablo Carballo… His father played for the Montreal Expos Minor League Affiliates, Lethbridge and Jamestown in the late 1970s… Cites his father as his biggest athletic influence because, “he is my example and my biggest fan”… At 14, he played in the Pony World Series in Pennsylvania as a member of the Puerto Rican National Team, finishing as Runner-Up after losing to Chinese Taipei… He was active in volunteer work at children’s baseball camps in Boca Raton… While attending high school in Puerto Rico, he was the President of the Student Council…He is majoring in Physical Education and Recreation at Bethune-Cookman…
