Nicknamed Big Mike, Michael Edmond Thomasson was born January 12, 1995 in Orlando, Fla. to Lisa and Mike Thomasson...Has three older siblings, all sisters, Amanda (24), Brittany (22) and Lauren (20)...Outside of baseball, he enjoys fishing, hanging out with friends and going to church...Chose Bethune-Cookman because he really trusted the coaching staff, their ability and their love for the game after they welcomed him with open arms...Notes his best sports memory as any beating of ERHS’ rival high school, Timber Creek, in any sports, especially when the baseball team won...Cites his father as his biggest influence because he taught him how to be a man, and the rights and wrongs in life...Interested in a career in athletic training and is majoring in Chemistry at Bethune-Cookman, with plans to join the forthcoming Sports Medicine major
