Biography

2011: Appeared in one game but did not post a catch during campaign, played in the season-opening victory over Elon

2010: As a third-year wide receiver, Dunham saw limited action...recorded no receptions with appearances in 11 games

2009: Saw action as redshirt freshman receiver, including closing minutes against Western Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia Tech and Florida...had one reception for 10 yards against Florida

2008: Spent his first year at Vanderbilt as a redshirt...earned top offensive scout honors after Rice victory

High School: Two-year captain, two-year starter at wide receiver and defensive back...his first year of prep football came as junior, helping the squad to 19-6 overall record and pair of state playoff appearances in his career... posted 32 receptions for 610 yards and eight TDs in 2007... As a DB, snagged four interceptions...was named 3A Second Team All-State and All-Central Florida by the Orlando Sentinel as a senior... set a school record as a junior, leading the state with 12 INTs...Also contributed 10 receptions in 2006...was one of the region's top hoops players, having started at guard for four years, winning four District titles, two Regional titles, and earning two Final Four appearances...also a competitive track & field athlete, taking the District high jump title with 6'8" PR (3rd in state)...off the field, Akeem was a National Honor Society member

Personal: He is the son of Sidney "Sput" and Cynthia Dunham...several relatives, includes parents and sister, graduated from Florida A&M where a gymnasium is named in honor of his grandfather...he was named Eustis' African-American Male Youth of the Year...active in community service, volunteering at the Eustis Recreation Department, and the Martha O'Bryan Center in Nashville, Tenn. ...focusing his Bethune-Cookman studies in Human and Organizational Development
