2012 – Junior Season
Played in nine games and started in two of those contests in his first season with the program • Collected 17 tackles and a fumble recovery on the year • Made his first collegiate starts against North Carolina A&T and Norfolk State • Had his best game with six stops (five assisted) in the 42-17 win over North Carolina Central • Collected two tackles and his first solo tackle for loss in his second consecutive start in the win over Norfolk State • Added a quarterback hurry against the Spartans • Posted two tackles in his first collegiate start against North Carolina A&T • Tallied three assisted tackles, including a tackle for loss and a fumble recovery return of 23 yards in a 38-26 win at Hampton • Registered two primary stops at Miami (Fla.) • Limited to a solo tackle in the MEAC-opening game at South Carolina State.

Switched to the defensive side of the ball in 2011 • Did not see playing time for the Knights after making the switch from offense to defense • Appeared in two games as a redshirt freshman in 2010, playing against Rice and Tulane as an offensive lineman • Redshirted in 2009.
Booker T. Washington High School
Played for coach Stanley Pritchett at Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta • Logged 80 tackles as a senior with four sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries • Was named Booker T. Washington's best defensive player on the gridiron and on the basketball court • Off the field, Branden was a member of the school's honor roll.

Born August 28, 1991 in Plantation, Florida to Lee and Susie Williams • Father, Lee, played football at Bethune-Cookman, also playing professionally in the NFL for 11 seasons with the San Diego Chargers and then Houston Oilers; later playing in the USFL • Cousin Timothy Thompson also played football at Bethune-Cookman • Active in Student Government, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Business Professionals of America • Honor student with a 3.2 GPA • Majoring in Accounting.
