Biography

Junior College: Played in four games in 2011 for the Buccaneers of Blinn College in Brenham, Texas, catching six passes for 230 yards as a tight end under Head Coach Ronny Feldman…caught one pass for 16 yards as a redshirt freshman tight end in 2010…served as Team Captain for both seasons at BC…played on teams that went to the C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas Bowl (2010) and Mississippi Bowl (2011)…The Buccaneers finished the 2011 season with a 9-2 record, ranked tenth in the NJCAA…Terry finished as the fifth highest receiver on the team and led the team in yards per catch by a significant margin, at 38.33 YPC in 2011…twice earned Dean’s List honors while at Blinn…did not play his true freshman season at Blinn

High School: 2009 graduate of Sealy High School in Sealy, Texas…played two years of football under Head Coach Jimmy Mitchell…Also played baseball and basketball…went to the playoffs in both football and basketball while at SHS…Terry earned first team All-District in both football and basketball during his senior year

Personal: Born Oct. 23, 1990 in Houston, Texas, Chase is the son of Melvin Terry and Dana Terry…His biggest influence athletically is his uncle, because, “he has been pushing me to be the best man that I can be”…he says the coaching staff was the reason he chose B-CU over offers from South Alabama, Sam Houston State, Morgan State, East Carolina, and Texas Southern…Terry’s goal at B-CU is to win National Championship rings…He is a Physical Education major at Bethune-Cookman
