Darian McCaskill

Darian McCaskill enters his seventh year as Director of The CATEYE Network, continuing an impressive 13-year involvement with the Bethune-Cookman University Athletic Department.

Since launching CATEYE, McCaskill has overseen a creative team comprised of mostly students – many of whom have gone on to successful professional careers – that have produced video content for all the social media platforms, web marketing campaign as well as live sporting events.

He serves as produce for the Wildcat Insider Football Coaches Show that airs weekly on Fox Sports Florida  as well as the Basketball Show that airs during the winter. His “hype” video for the BCU Football team that is shown at the Florida Classic Coaches Luncheon has become a trademark of the Wildcat presentation during that high-profile event.

Recent, McCaskill’s game production have been featured on ESPN3 and FloSports in partnership with the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

Returning to Bethune-Cookman  in 2005 as Football Video Operations Manager, he coordinated all aspects of the football program's video presence, aiding in the production of the weekly coaches television show, editing highlight films for current athletes and creating documentary style productions for specials events. He lent his expertise to the design of the Athletic Training Center that houses the BCU Football team and its support organization.

He serves as President of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Videographer Association was recognized by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) in its 2012 awards.

McCaskill has also served as a Director/Editor for HS Sports, a Livestream/Broadcast Manager for the DME Sports Academy as well as for the Daytona SC soccer team in USL-2.

His work also includes serving as the In-Stadium Show Producer for the MEAC/SWAC Challenge and the Hall Of Fame Video Production for the MEAC, which he also produces “Season In Review” presentations for the various sports.
