Keith Towbridge

Keith Towbridge is in his first season at Bethune-Cookman, where he will be serving as Co-Special Teams Coordinator while also coaching tight ends.

Towbridge arrives to Daytona Beach from Purdue University, where he worked the 2024 season coaching Tight Ends while also being a signal caller on the offensive side of the ball. With the Boilermakers, he coached Max Klare – John Mackey Award watch list and Third Team All-Big 10 performer, who led the offense in receptions (51), yards (685) and receiving touchdowns (4), respectively. The Boilermakers tight ends group was one of the most productive in the nation. Towbridge also served as an assistant coach with special teams, as Purdue’s unit was ranked as one of the top special units in college football.
 
In fall 2020, Towbridge began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Western High School in Louisville, Kentucky. From 2021-2023, Towbridge served as the Tight-Ends/Co-Offensive Coordinator for Christian Academy of Louisville (CAL), helping lead the squad to a 3-A (AAA) state title in consecutive seasons (2022, ’23). In winning the 2022 state championship, he officially won both as a coach and as a student-athlete, respectfully.

In 2023, Towbridge was inducted into the Central Catholic High School Hall of Fame in Toledo, Ohio.

In winter 2016, Towbridge graduated from The University of Louisville with a bachelor’s degree in communication before declaring for the NFL Draft. He later signed with the Buffalo Bills as a free agent, and over the next three years, he was a part of the Bills, Tennessee Titans and Washington Commanders organizations.
 
In 2013, Towbridge began his collegiate career at Louisville, finishing his collegiate career in 2016, where he was apart of five bowl eligible teams. He participated in each of the Sugar Bowl, Russell Athletic Bowl, Belk Bowl, Music City Bowl and Citrus Bowl. He was a key piece in 2016 to a Cardinals team that ranked third nationally, while also playing alongside Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson.
 
A 2013 graduate of Central Catholic High School in his hometown of Toledo as a two-sport athlete – winning the football championship and making it to the basketball championship, before falling short in the final game. Towbridge was ranked as the No. 67 prospect out of Ohio by Rivals.com. Rated as the No. 50 tight end by Scout.com and ranked the No. 5 tight end in Ohio and No. 66 overall prospect. He was rated as the 36th-best tight end by 247Sports.

Towbridge was born May 5, 1995, in Toledo. He is the son of Felesha and Brian Towbridge. He and his wife, Brittanie, have one son – Keaton.
