2011: Played in six games and started two at quarterback, turning in a pair of B-CU's most explosive and high-flying performances of the season...threw for a total of 409 yards with three touchdowns on 22-of-38 passing, with only one interception on the year...used his size and showed off his speed in the ground game, running the ball 27 times for 345 yards rushing and four scores...had his best all-around game against Savannah State (11/12), rushing for 203 yards with three TDs on just six carries, logging his career and team's season longest run of 80 yards against the Tigers...the SSU 203-yard performance was only the school's 10th 200-yard rushing performance in history ...also threw for 147 yards on 8-of-10 passing against SSU, garnering a tie for a team season-high two passing TDs...against Fort Valley State (10/15) in the Inaugural Biker Classic, Blackwell ran for 92 yards on 10 carries, with a long of 46, and threw for 222, including a team season-high and career-best 72-yard pass for a score to Maurice Francois in the first quarter

2009: Played one season at Iowa Western Junior College...rushed 33 times for 188 yards and one TD while throwing for 132 yards and one score...Originally signed with Iowa out of high school

Personal: Majoring in Criminal Justice at Bethune-Cookman...Third Team All-State as a junior in high school... Second Team All-County as a sophomore and junior...Honorable Mention All-County as a freshman... collected 63 receptions for 1,352 yards and 15 touchdowns...played both quarterback and wide receiver junior season... finished 87-4-149 with 1,108 passing yards and 12 passing touchdowns... also lettered in basketball
