Saw action in four games for the Wildcats • Used primarily on special teams and special cover situations • Collected a primary tackle against Alabama State in the season-opening victory as part of the MEAC/SWAC Challenge game in Orlando • Also collected playing time in games against South Carolina State, Miami and Florida A&M.

Dillard High School
Graduated from Ft. Lauderdale's Dillard High School in 2008, where he played under coach Keith Franklin • Carter was selected to play in the Miami Dade-Broward All-Star Game • Was quite accomplished on the track as well, as a member of the nationally first-ranked 4x100m relay team • Coming out of high school, he had offers from schools in the Sun Belt, MAC, Big EAST, and Conference-USA before signing to attend Central Michigan.
