A two-star quarterback by 247sports that chose BCU over offers from Louisville, Iowa, USF, Florida Atlantic, Indiana and Tulane… As a senior for Head Coach Evan Davis, led the Hawks to a state 5-A runner-up finish and impressive 14-1 overall record… Posted an eye-popping season with a 132 of 218 effort passing with 2,265 yards and 25 TDs with only five interceptions… Averaged 161.8 yards per game through the air and earned a 124.5 QB rating… Was also a threat rushing with 97 carries for 425 yards and six touchdowns… As a junior for Armwood High, he passed for 1,770 yards and 20 touchdowns while completing 60 percent of his passes… Black also rushed for 846 yards and eight touchdowns… Began high school career at Lennard High School in his hometown of Ruskin, Florida, where in two seasons he totaled 170 completions for 3,698 yards and 23 touchdowns, while rushing for 433 yards and four scores to lead the Longhorns to their second and third winning seasons in school history…
