2013 – Junior Season
Started in four games on the year, while playing in all 13 contests • Started the first four games of the year • Finished 10th on the team in total tackles, amassing 30 for the year from his defensive back position • Hauled down three tackles for loss (-13 yards) and recovered one fumble • Forced one fumble • Collected a solo stop in the John Merritt Classic versus Tennessee State in Nashville, Tenn. • Made a career-high tying six tackles (four assisted) in a home-opening victory over Virginia Union • Bounced back with five tackles (three assisted) and a forced fumble in a win over FBS opponent FIU • Registered two assisted stops at Florida State • Chipped in with two assisted stops and a recovered fumble in a Homecoming win over South Carolina State • Career-high matching six tackles (five primary stops) and a career-best three tackles for loss (-13 yards) in a win at North Carolina Central • Posted five stops (four solo) against Hampton • One primary tackles against Florida A&M in the Florida Blue Florida Classic • Ended the year with an assisted tackle at Coastal Carolina in the opening round of the FCS Playoffs.
2012 – Sophomore Season
Saw action in all 12 games for the Wildcats • Collected an assisted tackle on special teams against Coastal Carolina in the opening round of the FCS Playoffs • Forced his first career fumble courtesy a primary hit in the 42-17 win over North Carolina Central • Made his first career start against Norfolk State • Registered a career-high six tackles, including three primary stops, and an assisted tackle for loss in a win over Norfolk State • Picked up two assisted tackles at Hampton • One solo stop at BCS opponent Miami (Fla.).
2011 – Freshman Season
Appeared in three games in the Wildcats' defensive secondary • Made one tackle on the year against Hampton • Transferred into the program after spending the 2010 season at Iowa State.
Dillard High School
Spoto High standout who played for Dale Caparaso as a safety and tight end in his sophomore season • Collected 133 tackles and two picks in his senior season • Also registered seven pass deflections, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries • Ranked first in the league in tackles and 33rd in the state of Florida • Returned a fumble 57 yards for a touchdown in a victory over East Bay • Selected for Hillsborough County All-Star game • Posted 33 tackles and four interceptions as a junior • Returned an interception for a touchdown against Dixie Hollins in 2009 • Picked off two passes against Alonso • Had six tackles as a sophomore and caught two passes for 44 yards and a touchdown • Second team all-conference and honorable mention all-county as a junior • Caught 30-yard touchdown pass against Bloomingdale in 2008 • Had Spoto's most tackles in a season, and most career interceptions and most defensive touchdowns in a season/career.
