2013 – Junior Season
Enters the campaign on the CFPA Award Watch List for the second consecutive year… Also named to the Preseason All-MEAC First Team… Played in all 13 games during the 2013 season with 12 performances resulting in starting jobs… Earned All-MEAC Second Team honors… Finished second on the team and 39th in the MEAC for total tackles (64)… Averaged 4.92 tackles per game on the campaign… Posted a team third-best 31 solo stops… Tied for fifth in the conference in tackles for loss, finishing with 14.5 for a loss of 46 yards… Tallied a team second-best 4.5 quarterback sacks for a loss of 25 yards… Ranked 15th in the league for sacks… Third on the Wildcats squad with four quarterback pressures… Forced two fumbles… Began the year with double-digit tackles, posting 10 (eight solo), including a quarterback sack and a forced fumble, in a win over Tennessee State as part of the John Marritt Classic in Nashville… Picked up two assisted tackles, including one for loss, and a quarterback hurry in the home-opening win against Virginia Union… Four assisted stops with a quarterback sack in the MEAC-opening road win over Delaware State… Three tackles and a quarterback hurry at Howard… Turned in eight tackles, seven coming by way of solo performance, with a career-best four tackles for loss (one sack), adding a forced fumble in a home win versus Savannah State… Single-tackle games against South Carolina State and North Carolina Central… Secured a career-high 15 tackles (12 assisted) with 3.5 tackles for loss and a quarterback sack in the home defeat against Norfolk State… Tallied five tackles (three solo stops) with 1.5 tackles for loss and a quarterback rush in a win over Hampton… Ended with three tackles (one for loss) against FAMU in the annual Florida Blue Florida Classic… Registered his third double-digit tackles performance of the year in a loss to Coastal Carolina during the FCS Playoffs… Picked up 10 tackles (five solo) and a tackle for loss against the Chanticleers…

2012 – Sophomore Season
Steady performer who started 11 of the 12 games in which he saw action… Finished the year with 53 tackles, including 26 by solo performance… Led the team in tackles for loss (13) and sacks (8.5)… Ended the year ranked second in the MEAC for sacks (0.71 per game) and ranked fifth in tackles for loss… Registered a team-best seven quarterback hurries on the campaign… Recorded two pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries… Also blocked one kick… Picked up four assisted tackles against Coastal Carolina in the opening round of the FCS Playoffs… Picked up five tackles, including a tackle for loss, in the win over Florida A&M in the Florida Blue Florida Classic… Posted five tackles, two tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks in a 49-7 road win over Savannah State, helping B-CU clinch the MEAC title… Tallied six tackles (four solo), including a sack and 1.5 tackles for loss, with a pass deflection and game-high four quarterback hurries in the 24-13 win over Morgan State… Registered three tackles – two coming behind the line of scrimmage – and a forced fumble in a hard-fought 38-26 win at Hampton… Had nine tackles and two fumble recoveries in a 21-14 loss to Tennessee State… Returned one fumble 44 yards for a touchdown against the Tigers, aiding in his being named CFPA Defensive Lineman of the Week… Pulled down four tackles, including one tackle for loss, at BCS opponent Miami (Fla.)… Garnered College Football Performance Award (CFPA) honorable mention accolades following the Wildcats’ 27-14 victory over South Carolina State… Hauled in five stops (four solo), including two sacks against the Bulldogs… Made four solo tackles, two sacks, forced a fumble and had one pass breakup in his Wildcats debut against Alabama State in the MEAC/SWAC Challenge game in Orlando…

2011 – Redshirt Freshman Season
Appeared in nine games playing for George O'Leary at UCF… Recorded seven tackles (six solo), one sack, one tackle for loss and two quarterback hurries on the campaign… Had his best game against Tulsa for a season-high five tackles (four solo)… Picked up one solo tackle, that coming by way of a sack, against Boston College… Redshirted in 2010…

Miami Central High School
Played for coach Telly Lockette… The Rockets were 12-2 in 2009, and won the county championship and advanced to the FHSAA state semifinals for 6-A… Richardson led Miami-Dade County in sacks and was named to the Miami Herald's All-Dade Team… Played in the annual Dade-Broward All-Star Game, and also U.S.A. vs. the World Game… As a senior, he had 92 tackles with 30 tackles for loss and nine forced fumbles… Was honorable mention all-conference at Hialeah High School in 2007 and 2008… Was also recruited by North Carolina out of high school…

Personal
Parents are Mark and Daphine Richardson… Major is undeclared… His brother, Mark, plays linebacker at the University of Buffalo… Cites his dad as the biggest athletic influence because, "he always gave me the best advice"… Participated in the 500 Role Model Academy in Miami and coached kids football at a local park…
