Biography

♦ BSN Offensive Line of the Week (vs. Alabama State, 2012)

One of three returning starters to the offensive line for the 2012 • Has started all but three games in his career, primarily at the tackle position • Has tremendous size for his position.

2012 – Junior Season
Played and started in all 12 games at the tackle position • Saw action on more than 500 plays • Helped pave the way for Isidore Jackson to gain 1,069 rushing yards, the first time a Wildcat back rushed for over 1,000 yards since 1997 • Helped pave the way for the MEAC’s top scoring offense, controlling 353 points (29.4 points per game) • Wildcats led the league in total offense with 4,655 yards (387.9 per game) • Blocked for the conference’s top rushing offense, gaining 244 yards per game (2,928 total yards) • Saw action on 41 plays with a knockdown against Coastal Carolina in the opening round of the FCS Playoffs • Had three knockdowns in the MEAC title-clinching victory at Savannah State • Played all 70 snaps at Morgan State • Played 51 snaps and had one of his highest grades in the 42-17 win over North Carolina Central • Played 50+ snaps with a season-high four knockdowns in the 48-3 win over Norfolk State • Saw action on 58 snaps at BCS opponent Miami (Fla.) • Played 51 snaps at South Carolina State, adding a knockdown and downfield block • Played all 80 snaps against Alabama State in the MEAC/SWAC Challenge contest at Orlando.

2011 – Sophomore Season
Named BoxToRow HBCU All-American • Started in eight games at tackle • Aided the B-CU offense to total offensive outputs of 453.3 yards per game (12th FCS, 1st MEAC) and 259.3 rushing yards per game (5th FCS, 1st MEAC) • Preseason All-MEAC First Team • Named to the Phil Steele Preseason All-MEAC First Team.

2010 – Freshman Season

Started all 12 games for Wildcats' at left tackle • Served as a mainstay on a line that protected its quarterback well and led the offense to top the MEAC in rushing offense (13th FCS), total offense (12th FCS) and scoring offense (2nd FCS), racking up an average of 425.58 yards and 38.17 points per game • Earned All-MEAC Second Team honors • Did not play during the 2009 season.

Played three seasons at First Coast High School • Played all but the center position along the offensive line throughout his prep career.
