2014 Preseason All-MEAC First Team

2014 – Junior Season
Played in all 12 games as a safety… Picked up five starts on the campaign… Finished the year with 29 tackles, including 13 by solo performance… Chipped in on 1.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage… Hauled in one interception, adding a career season-best five pass deflections… Also forced one fumble… Began the year with five tackles (three assisted), adding a pass breakup in the season-opening victory at FIU in Miami… Tallied a season-best 10 tackles in the home-opening win over Grambling State, using six assisted stops… Had a career-best three pass breakups against the Tigers, as well as an assisted tackle for loss… Added three tackles at FBS opponent UCF in Orlando… Collected single-tackle performances against Howard, Savannah State, South Carolina State, North Carolina Central and Norfolk State… Forced his first career fumble to go along with two tackles (one primary) and an assisted tackle for loss in an ESPNU Thursday night contest at Hampton… Picked off his fourth career pass in the Florida Blue Florida Classic victory over Florida A&M in Orlando… Also registered two tackles (one primary) and a pass deflection in the game against the Rattlers… Returned two kickoffs against the Rattlers, combining for 58 yards in the process…

2013 – Sophomore Season
Comes into the 2014 season on the Preseason All-MEAC First Team for defense… Played in all 13 games on the year, drawing the start at safety in 11 of those contests… Finished the year tied for fifth on the team with 47 total tackles… Picked off two passes while breaking up three altogether… Recovered a team-best two fumbles… Began the campaign with two solo tackles and a pass deflection in the win at Tennessee State as part of the John Merritt Classic in Nashville… Tallied five tackles in the win over FBS opponent Florida International University… Posted a career-best 11 tackles, including five solo stops, and a fumble recovery at eventual BCS National Champion Florida State… Picked up three assisted stops in the MEAC-opening road win at Delaware State… Added a pass breakup in that contest against the Hornets… Registered single-tackle performances against Howard, Savannah State and South Carolina State… Picked off the second pass of his career in the Homecoming victory over South Carolina State… Finished with five tackles (four assisted) in a home loss against Norfolk State… Recorded his first career tackle for loss (assisted) against the Spartans… Bounced back with four primary tackles and an interception, returning it 27 yards, in a home victory over Hampton… Picked up four tackles, two by solo performance, and added a pass breakup in the Florida Blue Florida Classic win over rival Florida A&M… Registered his second double-digit tackles performance of the year on the strength of 10, including a career-best six solo stops, in the FCS Playoff game at Coastal Carolina…

2012 – Redshirt Freshman Season
Played in 11 games as a redshirt freshman in 2012… Used primarily as a reserve defensive back and on special teams… Collected nine tackles, a pass breakup and interception… Picked off his first career interception in the MEAC-clinching victory at Savannah State… Hauled down two solo tackles in the victory over Norfolk State… Recorded his best game with a season-high three tackles, including two primary hits, and a pass breakup in a 38-26 win at Hampton… Tallied a season-high tying two solo stops against Tennessee State… Redshirted in 2011…

2011 – Freshman Season
Did not see any action during the 2011 season… Redshirted to retain eligibility…

Dillard HS/North Carolina Tech Prep
Originally graduated from Ft. Lauderdale's Dillard High School before attending North Carolina Tech Preparatory Christian Academy… Attended NC Tech in 2010… Played for Tim Newman, going 12-1… Named second team on the NC Tech Prep All-Time Team… While at Dillard, he lettered in track, soccer, and football… Went to the state meet in track, running on the 4x400m and 4x800m relays, in addition to competing at Regionals on the 4x100m relay… Was named team MVP… In soccer, the Panthers went to the first round of the playoffs in his senior year…
