2017 – Redshirt Sophomore Season
Played in all 11 games in his first year with the Wildcats program, collecting a start in the last eight games of the year… Finished the campaign with a team second-most 70 tackles (37 primary / 33 assisted)… Tied for 15th in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) in total tackles… Tied for 19th in the league and finished second on the BCU squad with four quarterback sacks… Pulled down six tackles for loss on the campaign… Forced two fumbles, in addition to collecting two pass deflections and two quarterback hurries… Began his BCU career with two tackles (one solo) at Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) opponent Miami (Fla.), adding a pass breakup in the contest as well… Registered the first of back-to-back games with double-digit tackles with 10 (seven solo) at Florida Atlantic… Had another 10-tackle performance (six primary) and an assisted tackle-for-loss with a forced fumble in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) opening game at Howard… Posted seven tackles (five assisted) and a quarterback hurry in a home win over Savannah State... Tallied a season-high 11 tackles (six assisted) with a quarterback sack and a pass breakup in a home victory against South Carolina State… Had an eight-tackle performance (six solo stops) with a quarterback sack and a quarterback hurry on the road to North Carolina A&T… Recorded six tackles (four assisted) with a season-high two tackles quarterback sacks and a forced fumble in a BCU Homecoming win over Hampton… Pulled down nine tackles (six primary) with an assisted tackle-for-loss in the come-from-behind win at North Carolina Central… Registered a five-tackle game (three assisted) with an assisted tackle behind the line of scrimmage in the Florida Blue Florida Classic win over league foe Florida A&M at Camping World Stadium in Orlando…
