2011: Making his collegiate football debut as a walk-on, the track standout quickly became a mainstay on special teams, playing all 11 games on kickoff coverage, using his track speed to seek out the returner...collected 11 of his 13 tackles (8 solo tackles) on special teams...played cornerback in a reserve role...on the track, Embry III set new personal career marks at 6.99 in the 60m dash and 22.19 in the 200m dash, and distance marks on decathlon events in the high jump (1.78m), pole vault (3.51m), discus (30.89m) and javelin (48.78m), finishing third in the heptathlon at the 2011 MEAC Indoor Track & Field Championships and improving to second in the decathlon at the Outdoor Championships. He was also a member of the NCAA East Regional qualifying 4 x 400m relay team
2009/2010: Did not compete in football for the Wildcats...performed strictly as a track athlete in sprints...logged top times in his first two seasons at B-CU of 10.77 in the 100m, 22.31 in 200m, 48.53 in the 400m, as well as competing in the long jump with a long distance of 6.42m, and in the multi-events
High School: Attended Jacksonville's Sandalwood High where he lettered in football and track... had eight interceptions as a senior at Sandalwood...qualified for state in both the 110m and 300m hurdles, finishing fourth in the 300m at the FSHSAA 4A Championships
