Biography

2011: Appeared in ten games on the year, starting in six...was second on the team in rushing with 563 yards and one TD on 108 carries,(5.2 YPC average)...coming out of the backfield, Scott also hauled in 14 passes for 107 yards...had his best rushing game against Hampton (9/22), collecting 126 yards off of 15 carries, also catching two passes for 50 yards...had both his season's longest rush (54) and reception (33) against the Pirates

2010: At Ole Miss...played in ten games for the Rebels...carried the ball 21 times for 69 yards...season best game against Fresno State (9/25) with 26 yards on six carries...scored one touchdown on the year, against Kentucky (10/2)...earned the Southeastern Conference's Annual Sportsmanship Award for his split-second decision making against Auburn on 10/31, resolving to remain underneath Auburn DB Zac Etheridge and stay motionless to avoid further injury to the opposing player hurt trying to tackle him, who tore ligaments attached to his spine and cracked his C-5 vertebrae...Etheridge and Scott remain in contact

2009: At the University of Mississippi...saw action in 11 games...carried the ball 35 times for 138 yards and two scores on the season...made his first collegiate appearance at South Carolina (9/24) with one carry...rushed for career-high 57 yards on nine carries and two TDs against UAB (10/17), which at the time was the most rushing scores by a Rebel since 2007

Personal: Born September 28, 1990 in Gainesville, Florida, the son of Rodney Scott, Sr. and Mary Scott...selected by PrepStar and SuperPrep as an All-American...coming out of high school was listed as the No. 12 RB in the nation, the 21st ranked player in Florida and the 114th ranked player in the nation by Rivals.com...earned first team 2A All-State honors from the Florida Sports Writers Association...named to the Florida Super 75 by the Florida Times Union...ranked 61st on the Mobile Press Register's Super Southeast...rushed for 2,017 yards and 27 TDs as a junior...added another 1,655 yards and 24 TDs as a senior, playing Brent Wilkerson's Bears offense at Dixie County High...also played basketball in high school...attended the University of Mississippi for two seasons...majoring in Criminal Justice at Bethune-Cookman
