Local product of Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida • Attended prep school in 2012 • Helped lead the Buccaneers to the quarterfinals of the Florida Class 6-A playoffs in 2011 • Named second team all-state as a quarterback in 2009 at Warner Christian • Four-year varsity starter • Two-time state runner-up as a freshman and sophomore • Passed for 1,835 yards in 2011 as a senior • Had a career-high 2,509 yards passing as a sophomore.
