Chloe Shelby begins her first year at Bethune-Cookman for the 2024 season, joining the Wildcats from TCU, where she worked closely with Head Coach Sonny Dykes. At Bethune-Cookman, Shelby serves as the Director of Football Operations under second-year B-CU head coach Raymond Woodie Jr.

Most recently from February 2023 to May 2024, Shelby worked as the Player Experience Coordinator for TCU Football's Frogs for Life Player Development program. In this position, she focused on equipping football players with essential skills for success both as student-athletes and in their post-athletic careers. Her efforts led to significant improvements in social media engagement and the implementation of various community impact initiatives.

Shelby graduated from Texas A&M in May 2020, earning a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management. She minored in Business Administration, Recreation, Park & Tourism Sciences. She would later earn her master’s degree in Recreation and Youth development from Texas A&M in August 2022.

While serving as a student-assistant at Texas A&M, Shelby assisted the operations staff and with additional departments in everything associated with the day-to-day operations of Aggies Football. She would ensure player well-being through assisting the Director and Assistant Director of Player Development in order to spearhead community relations and engagement events. In her role as a player liaison, she helped with Teamworks and updating other databases dealing with freshman and transfer players in enrollment procedures to the university.

Following her time at Texas A&M, Shelby briefly served as a Premium Services Assistant for the Tennessee Titans from June to December 2022. While with the Titans, she collaborated with full-time advisors and Special Learning Team (SLT) to craft a personalized holistic plan for diverse backgrounds of academic scholars. She also helped as a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Advisor to increase football engagement through recruitment of four consistent team ambassadors.

Shelby’s involvement with the Hula Bowl All-Star Football Classic from January 2022 to January 2024 as Assistant Director of Football Operations allowed her to showcase her skills in managing large-scale events. She worked with ownership and the football operations staff to host in excess of 250 scouts and more than 130 players from 91 universities for a week of interviews, practices, daily engagement events and an end-of-week game, covered by CBS Sports.

Throughout her young career, Shelby has demonstrated expertise in event management, community planning, strategic communication, and relationship building. She is known for her ability to foster thought-provoking conversations, provide mentorship, and lead with self-motivation and attention to detail. Her technical skills include proficiency in Canva, Excel, Adobe InDesign, and Teamworks.

While pursuing her master's degree, Shelby gained valuable experience as a Student Assistant in Football Operations at Texas A&M University from August 2021 to June 2022. In this role, she assisted with daily management and workflow of the football program, acted as a player liaison, and helped organize various events including youth camps, pro days, and football banquets.
