Played in all 13 games and made a start in four contests • Finished with 25 tackles, including 17 solo stops • Broke up three passes, adding 2.5 tackles for loss • Began the year with three tackles (two primary stops) and a quarterback sack from his cornerback position in the John Merritt Classic against Tennessee State in Nashville, Tenn. • Tallied three primary tackles in a start at FBS opponent FIU • Posted a season-high seven tackles (five assisted stops) and 1.5 tackles for loss at Delaware State • Posted three solo stops in a home victory over Savannah State • Collected two tackles and a breakup at North Carolina Central • Also recorded two solo stops in the Florida Blue Florida Classic win over Florida A&M.

At Miami
In 2012, he played in all 12 games at defensive back, making six starts • Record 30 tackles, including 22 solo stops • Started season's first six games • Had lone INT of season against NC State • Tallied three solo stops vs. Florida State • Added season-high five tackles in road loss at Virginia • Had three tackles and fumble recovery against USF • Tied season-high with five tackles in season finale win at Duke • Saw action in 11 games during the 2011 campaign • Finished year with 14 tackles (10 solo, four assists) • Had season-high three tackles twice, against Maryland and Duke • Registered first career tackle for loss against North Carolina • Earned letters both years with the Hurricanes program.

Enrolled at B-CU in December 2013 • Three-star prospect and rated as nation’s No. 39 cornerback • As senior, led Miami Central to 6A championship • Recorded 45 tackles and one interception • Ran 4.4 40-yard dash while in high school • Also track standout • Finished second in state in 100-yard dash • Originally committed to South Carolina before going to Miami.
