Saw action in all 11 games as a redshirt freshman under Head Coach Terry Sims… Played as a reserve linebacker, but saw most of his time as a member of the special teams unit for the Maroon and Gold… Recorded five tackles (three assisted) across the campaign… Collected his first collegiate tackles with a two-tackle performance (one primary) in a win on the road to Southeastern Louisiana… Had an assisted tackle at Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) opponent Florida Atlantic… Produced a primary stop at North Carolina A&T… Tallied an assisted tackle in a BCU Homecoming win over Hampton…

Prepped at University Christian High School in his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida… A participant in the 2016 FHSAA All-Star Game... Registered a big game as a senior against Cambridge Christian, pulling down eight tackles on the night from his linebacker position…
