Had 52 tackles (24 solo in 2019); fourth on team and leader among returners … Delivered two big third quarter plays in MEAC/SWAC Challenge – First was a blocked PAT, then registered a sack and recovered the ensuing fumble to end a potential Jackson State scoring threat … Returned to home state of Mississippi and helped BCU down MVSU with six tackles and a half-sack … Helped BCU hold NCCU to 141 yards rushing in key 27-13 road win … Season-high 10 tackles at Delaware State ... Made strong first impression with three interceptions at Spring game.

Two-year linebacker for Coach Buddy Stephens' East Mississippi Community College Lions... Helped lead EMCC to a two-year composite record of 23-1 with back-to-back national (NJCAA) and state (MACJC) state championships... Credited with 113 total tackles (71 solos/42 assisted), including 10 tackles for loss, for his career... Also had two pass breakups, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble... Ranked as the Lions' second-leading tackler with 74 total stops this past season, including 10 tackles for loss (40 yds)... Also had a pass breakup, fumble recovery and forced fumble on the year... Recorded four double digit-tackle efforts in 2018 with 11 stops against Holmes and Garden City (NJCAA Championship)… Also returned a recovered pass interception 22 yards in the national title game... Posted 10 tackles versus East Central and Coahoma. Also lettered in basketball and track & field alongside football in high school at Coahoma Agricultural High School in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
