Biography
"Jeri Crane is a power forward that possesses ability to play not only inside, but outside as well," said Blair. "She has a guard's handling abilities and can come in from the wing and score. She can score in the paint and has proven to be very aggressive and a ferocious rebounder."
Freshman Season (2012-13): Saw 15 minutes on the court in her first college game, 11/9/12 vs. Trinity Baptist, setting career marks in points (5) with 66.7 (2-of-3) percent shooting and steals (2), with two (2) rebounds • Earned her first college block (1) at UCF • Matched her high-points (5) mark in a career-high 20 minutes vs. Edward Waters, snagging a career-best six (6) rebounds
High School: She is a 2012 graduate of Memphis' Wooddale High School, playing guard for the Cardinal under Julia Stewart... fresh off playing in the Super 80 fall league, and previously played with Team Memphis Elite AAU club...off the court, involved in DECA
Personal: Born in Memphis, Tenn., she is the daughter of Jerry and Cheryl Crane...has recently volunteered at the Children's Museum of Memphis and at the local hospital...her goal while at B-CU is to win the MEAC...cites her father as her biggest athletic influence because, she says "he got me involved in basketball and always forced me to get better"...is majoring in Biology at Bethune-Cookman
