Hunter Anne Postier is in her second year with Bethune-Cookman University as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach under Coach Corliss Fingers. While at B-CU, she has worked with a variety of sports including football, men’s and women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, softball, women’s tennis, and the women’s golf program.
Postier arrived at B-CU in 2022 from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota where she served for a year as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. While at St. Mary’s she taught an introductory and advanced strength and conditioning course while working primarily with the men’s basketball, women’s hockey, women’s volleyball, men’s soccer, softball, and men’s and women’s track and field teams.
Prior to working at St. Mary’s, she was awarded the Women’s Sports Foundation Tara VanDerveer grant. This grant was facilitated as a Strength and Conditioning fellowship position at St. Catherine University of Minnesota to promote the hiring of up-and-coming aspiring female coaches throughout the NCAA. Her fellowship began after completion of her master’s degree in Exercise Science from The University of Toledo in the spring of 2020. During her time at The University of Toledo she served as the Olympic Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant Coach. Her role involved primarily working with the men’s and women’s cross country, women’s golf, women’s tennis, and women’s swimming and diving teams.
A 2017 graduate from Kansas State University, she earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in Kinesiology, Human Nutrition, and Gerontology. A five-year member of the Women’s Rowing team at Kansas State, she also earned a Varsity Letter and Big 12 Commissioner Boat of the Week award.
Hunter Anne Postier is a certified member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is a certified Level-1 Coach with the United States of America Weightlifting Association (USAW). She also holds a current American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED certification.
