2017 – Freshman Season
Played in all 11 games as a true freshman for the Wildcats, seeing his time at the outside linebacker position… Stared the final eight games of the campaign… Ended the year third on the BCU squad and tied for 38th in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) with 53 total tackles (21 primary / 32 assisted)… Pulled down five tackles behind the line for a loss of 12 yards in the opposition’s offensive backfield… Assisted on one quarterback sack… Posted a quarterback hurry and a pass deflection across the campaign… Began his Maroon and Gold career with four tackles (three primary) at Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) opponent Miami (Fla.)… Picked up a solo tackle and forced a fumble in a win on the road at Southeastern Louisiana… Tallied seven stops (four assisted), including two tackles for loss, at FBS opponent Florida Atlantic… Had four assisted tackles with a tackle for loss in a home debut victory over Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) opponent Savannah State… Grabbed five assisted tackles in a win at home over South Carolina State… Bounced back with five tackles (three primary) at North Carolina A&T… Picked up six tackles (three primary, three assisted), with an assisted quarterback sack, adding a quarterback hurry in a BCU Homecoming victory against Hampton… Recorded a season-best nine tackles (five assisted) in a win at home versus Morgan State… Grabbed down five tackles (three primary) with an assisted tackle-for-loss in the epic come-from-behind win at North Carolina Central… Posted five tackles (four assisted) with a tackle-for-loss and a pass breakup in the Florida Blue Florida Classic win over Florida A&M at Camping World Stadium in Orlando…
