Daytona Beach, Fla. - Bethune-Cookman University women's basketball is proud to announce the signing of Chelsea Gordon to a National Letter of Intent on Tuesday morning, Nov. 14.

Gordon, a 6-foot-2 forward/center, comes to B-CU from Dunbar High School in Ft. Myers, Fla. She averaged 14 points and 10.2 rebounds for the Tigers. That was added to three blocks per game as a senior.

In her junior season, Gordon averaged 9.5 points and 8.7 rebounds per contest. She was a four-year letterwinner while earning All-State honors as a junior and senior with Dunbar HS. All-Conference honors came for Gordon all four years in high school on both varsity and junior varsity levels of competition.

Gordon picked up Best Defensive Player honors on the team as a junior and senior, on her way to being named All-Area her last three years for the Tigers.
