About the Lady Wildcats
The Lady Wildcats have won two of their last three contests and look to keep the momentum going with a four-game stretch at Moore Gym, where B-CU is 4-3 this season. Improved offensive production from the players individually has boosted the Lady Wildcats, complementing B-CU's tough defensive attack, and taking some of the heat off top scorer Chastity René Taylor, who averages 16.2 points per outing.

One of the biggest divisors of opposing defenses lately has been the rise in offense from point guard Shakeyia Colyer. The redshirt senior has scored in double figures in each of the last five games, including a pair of 20+ point performances. She averages 10.9 PPG, in addition to ranking second on the team in rebounds (5.1 RPG).

In the post, redshirt freshman center Kailyn Williams has been averaging a double double across the past three contests (13.3 points/10.7 rebounds), with a season average of 5.9 PPG and a team-leading 6.5 RPG. Not to mention that she ranks first in the MEAC and 17th in the NCAA in rejections, sporting a 2.8 BPG average. Fellow underclassmen Taylor Houston and Kendra Cooper have seen an uptick over the last three games, chipping in averages of 8.3 PPG (and 5.7 RPG) and 5.7 PPG, respectively.

About the Lady Hawks
After starting the season with some gutty wins, Maryland Eastern Shore has fallen into a nine-game losing streak, aided at least in part by spending all but one date in December on the road. In their most recent contest, UMES fell to conference travel partner, Howard, in overtime, 77-75. However, since then, the Lady Hawks have been provided an off week to focus their efforts on B-CU and Moore Gym.

Guard Jessica Long leads the pack for UMES, averaging 15.7 PPG and 3.9 RPG, while topping the squad in both assists (4.6 APG) and steals (2.1 SPG). She is aided by fellow guard Shawnee Sweeney, who averages 10.5 PPG with a long-range emphasis, having shot 154 threes this season, hitting a team-best 43.

In the post, Shanyce Stewart and Alexis Udoji provide a strong tandem that accounts for nearly half of UMES' 46.5 team RPG, grabbing 9.8 and 8.4 RPG, respectively. In addition, Udoji puts up 8.3 PPG and blocks 1.8 shots per game.
