In its final meet before the conference championships, the BCU cross country team will head to Tampa, Fla. for the USF Invitational, Friday at 5 p.m.
The women's 5K race will begin at 5 p.m. with the men's 8K following at 5:45 p.m. The race is free to attend.
LAST RACE:
The women were led by their junior Deja Davis. Davis finished in first place with a time of 18:49.87.
Nyajock Pan finished second with a time of 19:16.02 and Tatyana Hodnett placed 6th in 20:33.34
BCU's other women's competitors were Briana Pollock (20:46.37,9th), Nia Ruth (20:52.09)
The men were topped by their sophomore Xavier Walton. Walton finished the race in first place (16:20.20)
Jonathan Moore was the next Wildcat to finish placing 4th with a time of 16:59.57.
BCU's other men's competitors were Cameron Berryhill (18:17.58, 22nd), Christopher Jackson (18:21.89, 22nd), DeAndre Petty (18:38.09, 25th)
SATURDAY'S COVERAGE: The day's events begin at 5:00 p.m. with the collegiate men's race, followed by the women's collegiate race at 5:45 p.m.
