BALTIMORE, Maryland – Bethune-Cookman volleyball's 11-day, extended road trip came to an end as the Wildcats dominated Morgan State in a 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-21) victory in the Charm City.
The Wildcat rookie,
Alana Handy, continued to dominate for BCU, collecting her fifth double-double of the season (second consecutive) finishing with a team-best 12 kills and 11 digs.
Senior
Phylecia Armstrong trailed Handy with 11 kills on 19 attempts with only one error, finishing with a .526 hitting percentage during the Wildcat win, while
J'nai Higgins also finished the match with a double-double leading BCU in assists (31) and digs (14).
The Wildcats return home on Tuesday, Oct. 18 as Bethune-Cookman hosts Jacksonville at Mainland High School for a 7 p.m. match.
