DAYTONA BEACH, Florida – Bethune-Cookman volleyball dropped a four-set decision, falling 3-1 (25-19, 20-25, 25-22, 25-20) to Jacksonville at home, Tuesday, Oct. 18 in the Vince Carter Center at Mainland High School.
Rookie
Alana Handy collected her sixth double-double of the season and third consecutive, finishing with a team-best 14 kills and 18 digs.
Alondra Bautista contributed an additional 14 kills and 12 digs while
Rakaya Neely added nine kills and five blocks.
J'nai Higgins paced the BCU offense during the setback with 32 assists.
The Wildcats return to action on Friday, Oct. 21 as Bethune-Cookman travels to Savannah, Georgia for a 7 p.m. match at Savannah State.
