GREENSBORO, North Carolina – Errors plagued the Wildcats as Bethune-Cookman volleyball lost its third-straight match, falling 3-1 (25-15, 25-21, 25-9, 25-17) to North Carolina A&T on Friday, Oct. 7 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
As a team the Wildcats committed 35 hitting errors, finishing the match with 34 total kills.
Heading the slow BCU offensive night, rookie
Alana Handy finished with 9 kills, trailed by Rakaya Neeky's eight.
Junior
Phalen Clark dished a team-best 21 kills, as Handy and Higgins each collected 10 digs.
Samara Brown led the Aggies with 18 kills, while Alyssa Pitt added 14.
Four Aggies finished with double-digit digs, as Liz Martino paced the offense finishing with 23 helpers.
The Wildcats return to action on Sunday, Oct. 9 when Bethune-Cookman travels to the Bull City to face North Carolina Central in a 1 p.m., match at C.E. Jordan High School in Durham
