DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The 2016 edition of Bethune-Cookman Football comes to a close Saturday when the Wildcats travel to take on South Carolina State in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The game takes place Saturday, Nov. 26, with kickoff set for 1:30 p.m., inside Oliver C. Dawson "Bulldog" Stadium. Bethune-Cookman will be seeking its first win at S.C. State since 2012, and try to conclude the season with a .500 winning percentage at 5-5 overall (5-3 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference).

After beginning the season 0-5, Bethune-Cookman rides a four-game winning streak into the season finale with South Carolina State in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The Maroon and Gold have won three of the last four games against the Bulldogs, but the home teams have held serve in the series dating back to a B-CU win over the Bulldogs at Oliver C. Dawson "Bulldog" Stadium in 2012. With a victory, the Wildcats would finish the year third in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) standings, as well as earn a .500 season with a 5-5 overall record.
