FLAGSTAFF, Arizona – Bethune-Cookman volleyball wrapped up its Arizona stay after a second 3-0 (25-5, 25-17, 25-15) sweep from Northern Arizona, Saturday, Sept. 10 in Flagstaff.
Phylecia Armstrong and
Alondra Bautista led the Wildcat's offense for the second-straight match each finishing with six kills. Armstrong also added a block during the setback, while Bautista collected eight digs.
On the defensive end, rookie
Alana Handy added a team-best nine digs as
J'nai Higgins paced the BCU offense with 20 assists.
Bethune-Cookman returns to action Friday, Sept. 16, as the Wildcats open the Bulldog Invitational with host Georgia, at 7 p.m., in Athens.
