ATHENS, Georgia – Another perfect offensive night for
Phylecia Armstrong came up short as Bethune-Cookman volleyball fell in straight-sets to the Bulldog Invitational host, Georgia 3-0 (25-9, 25-23, 25-19) Friday night (Sept. 16) in Athens, Georgia.
The redshirt senior middle blocker finished with seven kills on ten attempts, with no errors (.700).
In additional to Armstrong, sophomore
J'nai Higgins collected a double-double with 13 helpers and 15 digs while
Alondra Bautista finished with 12 digs and five kills.
The Wildcats return to action on Saturday, Sept. 17 opening with South Alabama at 10 a.m., before wrapping up the Bulldog Invitational with McNeese State at 4 p.m., in Athens.
