CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman plays its third tournament of the 2018 Fall season when it travels to the University of Miami for the Bedford Cup.

Featuring 58 players from Florida's 10 Division I teams in the Sunshine State, the Bedford Cup serves as the annual fall Florida state championship tournament. Along with B-CU, players from Miami, UCF, Florida A&M, Florida Atlantic, FIU, FGCU, North Florida, USF and Stetson will take part in the event presented by the Youth Tennis Foundation of Florida Inc. 
Action begins Friday Morning.

B-CU UPDATE: Freshman Michelle Ncube is 8-0 in singles play this fall, coming off a flight victory at the HBCU Nationals September 20-23 … Karen Romero advanced to her flight semifinals at the event … Phatsimo Ruele is returning to action after missing HBCU Nationals while Afrika Smith, a freshman from the Bahamas, is set to make her B-CU debut.
