CORAL GABLES, Fla.--Michelle Ncube ran her fall unbeaten streak to nine with a 3-6,7-5, 1-0 victory over Miami's Ana Madcur in her opening match at the Bedford Cup Friday at the University of Miami

The freshman's run ended with her falling 6-3,6-0 to Florida Gulf Coast's Maja Ornberg in the second round.

The victory marked the Wildcats' first triumph over Atlantic Coast Conference competition since 2014.

Ncube was the lone Lady Wildcat winner. Other results:
