DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Jordan Jefferson had 17 kills and 21 digs as Bethune-Cookman snapped a four-match losing streak with a 3-1 (25-23,25-18,21-25,25-18) victory over Florida A&M Friday in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Southern Division match Friday in  Historic Moore Gym.

J'nai Higgins posted 38 assists and 18 digs, and Shayla Eugene had a career-high 25 digs as the Lady Wildcats (8-9 overall, 1-2) defeated the Rattlers (3-13,2-1) in Moore Gym for the third consecutive time.  This was Bethune-Cookman's first home match of the year.
