DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman's Kiana Williams has been named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie Of The Week, it was announced today [December 18, 2018].

The 5-6 freshman guard from Columbia, Md. Was two assists away from a triple-double in Saturday's 76-60 win over North Florida, dropped a career-high 23 points while grabbing  10 rebounds to go along with a career high-tying eight assists and three steals.

This is her second Rookie Of The Week honor. She's currently leading the MEAC in assists (4.8 per game) and is 12^th in scoring.

BCU (6-3) travels to Atlanta for the Georgia State Christmas Tournament, facing Kennesaw State Thursday and Georgia State Friday.
