DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The Bethune-Cookman women dropped a 5-2 decision to Longwood Wednesday afternoon when the Wildcat men fell 4-1 to Appalachian State at City Island Tennis Center.
Alejandra Vidal won both her singles and doubles matches to increase her career victory total to 91 moving her closer to becoming the sixth player in program history to register 100 wins.
Bethune-Cookman (0-5) took the doubles point but Longwood (4-2) won five of the six singles matches.
On the men's side, Juan Navarro's second straight singles victory represented the lone Wildcat (1-4) point as Appalachian State improved to 8-6.
The Wildcat men host Davidson Thursday.
